Force Engineering were heavily involved in the fabrication of instrumentation pipework at Contact Energy’s new geothermal development – Tauhara Power Station.
A testament to their skill, our qualified ASME IX welders had a 100% success rate with over 300 stainless welds passing Non Destructive Testing everytime, both in position on site & workshop fabricated welds.
A critical line for monitoring of geothermal pressures into the Turbine, and all 316 Stainless Steel, the welds ranged from flanges to valves, sockets to gauges, and everything inbetween.
